Raphael died unexpectedly on the 16th of March 2024, after collapsing during a Field Game match at school. Raphael is our only child. We have been supported by the great team of Child Bereavement UK who help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families. Raphael was strong, fit and healthy. The autopsy has not found a cause of death. Life simply stopped.
