Skydive · 5 July 2026

The Charity is a small independent charity representing people with Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia conditions, their families, carers and friends in the Merseyside Area. We also are keen to create awareness for a better understanding and provide moral support, advice and an opportunity to talk to others who understand your experience.

Story

4 Friends. 1 Jump. 1 Purpose.

Tomorrow, on World Sickle Cell Day, we’re proud to launch this fundraiser ahead of our skydive challenge on Sunday 5th July.

Four friends Aaron, Kurtis, Clinton and Ali are taking a leap of faith to raise vital funds for the Liverpool Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Support Group.

For Aaron, this challenge is deeply personal. As the proud dad of two incredible sickle cell warriors, he sees every day the strength, resilience and courage it takes to live with sickle cell.

Standing alongside him are Kurtis, Clinton and Ali three devoted uncles who have witnessed the impact sickle cell has on the children they love. Together, they’re jumping to raise awareness, show their support, and help improve the lives of everyone affected by sickle cell.

This challenge is made even more special as it’s also a celebration of Kurtis’ 40th Birthday. Rather than marking the milestone in the usual way, he’s chosen to celebrate by giving back to a cause that means so much to all four of them.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help the Liverpool Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Support Group continue providing advocacy, education, practical support and a lifeline to individuals and families living with sickle cell and thalassaemia.

Please support our four friends as they take on this incredible challenge.

One jump. One purpose. Countless lives touched.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support.
