Story
In 2020, when COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill, life became strangely quiet. Living alone was something I had never truly experienced before; as a naturally social, family-oriented person, the sudden lack of human contact felt unsettling and unfamiliar.
Then, by fate, magic, or simple luck, Molly appeared. She, too, seemed to be looking for a friend. I had never considered myself a “cat person,” but Molly had a gentle way of making her calming presence known. Little by little, we became companions.
Since then, she has become my partner in crime, and even now she’s curled up beside me as I write this. Molly opened my eyes to the loving, intuitive nature of cats and the deep connection they can share with us. Because of her, I now feel inspired to help other cats who are still waiting to find a home of their own.
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause that works tirelessly to care for cats. Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference to Molly's

cousins and friends.
