Story
Hi everyone,
As a Teaching Assistant, mum to two football-mad boys, and someone who thought chasing after children was enough cardio for a lifetime… I’ve somehow signed up to run the London Marathon!
I’m taking on 26.2 miles in support of St John Ambulance — an incredible charity that shows up when people need help most. From community events to emergencies, they’re often the calm in the chaos, and I’m so proud to be running for them.
Training has meant early mornings, tired legs, and trying to convince my boys that “long run” doesn’t mean driving to McDonald’s. But knowing it’s for such an important cause keeps me going (even when my knees disagree).
If you’re able to donate — big or small — I would be so grateful. Every pound truly makes a difference and will help support the life-saving work St John Ambulance does every single day.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and for helping push this busy mum over the finish line!
With love and slightly sore legs,Sabrina Lomax
