I’m running the London Marathon in memory of my father-in-law, Simon Boddis, who passed away on 25th December 2025.

I'm hoping to raise £10,000 for Princess Alice Hospice, who provided such outstanding care during his final days. We were deeply moved with the extraordinary support and care that they gave our family during such a difficult time.

Princess Alice is a local charity that provides specialist care for people living with a terminal diagnosis, and for their families too.

It costs over £11.5 million each year to provide this specialist care to thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses, completely free of charge.

This will be my first marathon. I’ve just started training and know it’s going to be a challenge, but I’m proud to be doing it for a cause that means so much to me.
