Story
In July 2025, my best friends dad was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma.
One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002. Glioblastoma is an aggressive cancer with no current cure. I am raising money for Brain Tumour Research in the hope that one day, there will be a cure for this terrible disease.
To support this cause, together with we will be participating in the National 3 Peak Challenge in 24 hours on July 11, 2026. My target is to raise £500 to contribute towards vital research.
I invite you to join me in this fight against brain tumours by donating whatever you can. Together, we can make a difference. I know that whoever is reading this knows someone, a friend or a loved one, who has been affected by cancer. I want future generations to grow up in a world where this terrible disease doesn't win; I want to live my life not in constant fear of who is next, and I'm sure you agree.
Thank you so much for your support 🩷🩷
