We are raising money in loving memory of our dear friend, Jamal Hassan who sadly passed away. His loss has left a space in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

We want to honour his memory by raising money towards a water well as Sadaqah Jariyah on his behalf. Insha’Allah, this will provide clean and safe water to people in need, and we pray that every person who benefits from it will be a source of ongoing reward for Jamal.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us about the beautiful reward of ongoing charity, saying that when a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three things, including ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). This is why we hope to create something lasting in Jamal’s name—a source of benefit for others and, by Allah’s mercy, a continuing source of reward for him.

More importantly, please keep Jamal in your duas and ask Allah to forgive him, have mercy upon him and grant him the highest place in Jannah.
