Alhamdulillah, by the permission of Allah, we have once again been given the opportunity to serve His creation.
This Ramadan, myself along with brothers from our team will be travelling to Jordan to visit refugee camps hosting Palestinian and Syrian refugees. We will be working on the ground to personally deliver your donations and Zakat through Hayaat Welfare Trust to families who are struggling for basic necessities. We will also be distributing during the last 10 days of Ramadan making it even more special and meaningful, at a time when hearts are soft, needs are great, and rewards are multiplied.
Ramadan is the month of mercy, generosity and multiplied reward. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was described as being the most generous of people, and he was even more generous in Ramadan. Every act of charity in this blessed month carries multiplied reward, and Allah alone knows the true weight of what is given sincerely for His sake.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people”. He ﷺ also said, “Whoever relieves a believer of hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of hardship on the Day of Judgment”.
For many families in the camps, Ramadan is not marked by comfort, but by continued uncertainty. Parents worry about how they will provide iftar. Children fast while living in extremely difficult conditions.
This fundraiser is Zakat eligible. Recipients will be verified to ensure they fall within the rightful categories of Zakat, and funds will be distributed accordingly. You may donate your Zakat with confidence that it will reach those who are genuinely entitled to receive it, in sha Allah.
Your donation will:
• Provide food parcels for iftar and suhoor
• Support widows and orphaned children
• Bring dignity and relief to displaced families through cash donations
Give with the intention of seeking Allah’s pleasure alone. Give hoping for multiplied reward. Give on behalf of yourself, your parents, your loved ones - those alive and those who have returned to Allah. A small sacrifice from us can mean a great relief for them. We will personally oversee distribution to ensure your trust is honoured.
May Allah accept from you, multiply your charity beyond measure, relieve the suffering of the oppressed, and make this a means of salvation for us all on the Day we stand before Him.
JazakumAllahu khayran for your support.
وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم
