In’Sha’Allah, I’ll be going to Garissa, Kenya with Human Appeal to deliver urgent aid to those in need.

I’m trying to raise £10,000 to help people suffering from hunger and thirst. We’ll be giving out food packs and building water wells.

350,000 children are at risk of starving in East Africa. Someone dies every 48 seconds because of hunger.

Families walk for miles in the heat just to find dirty water. Hunger in Kenya is the worst it’s been in 30 years, and more children are getting severely sick from lack of food.

WHERE YOUR DONATIONS ARE GOING?

- £100 = food parcel providing a family with a nutritious diet to last a month, clean water & a malnutrition kit, which contains the calorie-dense Plumpy Nut nutrition supplement. 1 months’ worth of clean water trucking in drought- hit communities.

- High calorie treatment for malnutrition, in coordination with UNICEF.

- Shelter & non-food items to displaced families arriving in Mogadishu’s camps.

- A water well to nourish families and livestock.
