Many of you will have seen that we have been sharing Jannat Radwan's story and encouraging support through donations for food and essential supplies for her and her 3 year old son, who are displaced in the Al Zana area of Gaza.

Jannat’s parents, who are both unwell, were evacuated to Egypt on health grounds some time ago. We have now received an important update: Jannat's mother, Rehab, is now in need of an immediate medical procedure. She has a cyst growing near a gland in her throat and recent teats showed hemorrhagic smears (bleeding of the gland). A surgical consultation has confirmed that she urgently requires a glandectomy. The total cost for the procedure is £500.

We are working in partnership with Aghosh UK - Alkhidmat Foundation, a trusted charity with teams on the ground in Egypt. They have met with Jannat’s parents, verified Rehab's medical situation, and are ready to safely deliver the funds needed for the surgery.
