Story
In September 2023 my brother Nigel lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Nigel was a funny, kind and caring man, always on hand with a quick witted comment or a cheeky smile. He was much loved by his family and friends.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest of cancer challenges. It’s tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive and by the time Nigel was diagnosed his cancer was untreatable.
Over the next 5 years one of the main focuses for Pancreatic Cancer UK is to drive earlier and faster diagnoses. Developing new tools to improve the detection of pancreatic cancer would mean that more people are diagnosed earlier, giving them the chance to have life-saving treatment, and saving thousands of lives every year.
We know that we are living in a world with ever increasing costs and that things are finically tight for people, but any support you can give will be a big help in continuing vital research and helping to save more lives.
Thank you
