Story
Help me to raise £2,500 for an incredible cause. The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Chester.
In 2018, my family lost my beloved Grandma Nelly Nicholas, to cancer. During her final weeks, The Hospice of the Good Shepherd cared for her and us, with incredible compassion, dignity and kindness. It’s something I will always be grateful for.
In 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon to say thank you.
In 2023, a year after having Xavier, I ran the Great North Run for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, crossing the finish line thinking, how does anyone run double the distance? 😅 Now, after having my second child Florian by lifesaving emergency C-section, returning to work full time, and finding my way back to running, I’ve decided to take on an even bigger challenge — the 2026 London Marathon. Training is a bit of a juggle, but every mile reminds me why this matters so much.
The Hospice of Good Shepherd is a registered charity and needs over £7,000 every single day to keep it running. It has to generate 83% of its running costs through donations and other fundraising.
My goal is to raise £2,500 to help ensure they can continue supporting patients and families when they need it most.
If you’re able to donate or share, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and it will make a real difference to others facing the hardest moments of their lives.
Thank you so much for your support 💙🏃🏽♀️
