A big shout out to the ladies volunteering at Keeping Abreast who talked about their experience of reconstruction surgery and showed me their results. They are all very brave and very wise.

This charity is amazing and even though I felt rank, and was swollen and weak from all the drugs, their strength gave me hope for life after cancer and the confidence to go through reconstruction with my mastectomy!

Now 11 months after diagnosis, after chemo, my surgery and now halfway through radiotherapy I have signed up to jump out of a plane on 19th July to support the amazing work this charity does.

I have everything crossed that I'll be well enough (sort of - I don't know what I'm thinking!!!)

My marvellous Mum and brilliant brother will be donning their pink t-shirts too and jumping with me!
