Here at Horsham Cats Protection, we are currently dealing with a surprise sad turn of events. One of the lovely cats in our care, Sadie, who arrived at the branch as a heavily pregnant stray, has had to have an emergency Caesarean.

Unfortunately, only one kitten survived and we are now dedicating a high level of care and attention to Sadie and her kitten's recovery. Despite her ordeal, Sadie is bonding well with her kitten Sonny, and both are expected to make a full recovery.

The emergency surgery, treatment for Sadie and Sonny, vet stay and ongoing care has already cost the branch a large amount and so to raise funds we have launched an Appeal to help pay for this. If we are fortunate to raise more funds than required, the money will be used to help other cats in our care in similar circumstance.
