sadiquet's fundraiser for Projects in Palestine

sadiquet mughal is raising money for Projects in Palestine

ART SALE

Projects in Palestine is an charitable organisation based in Coventry, fundraising to help people in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Our ethos is to help enable the Palestinians to continue to live and work on their lands whilst helping them to self -sustain whether it be by planting trees and crops or assisting them to start small businesses. We are particularly interested in helping people out of poverty by focussing on funding women’s projects, projects for children and farming and planting. Through the help of our Palestinian co-ordinators, we will visit, assess and donate goods needed to make these projects happen. All three trustees have visited Palestine on numerous occasions and all three have volunteered throughout Palestine, giving them a wealth of experience and knowledge of the West Bank. All donations and money received will be spent facilitating Projects in Palestine. None of us take a wage and all self-fund our trips.

I am sure that you are aware of the really bad situation in Palestine Gaza right now. Following the uncalled for attacks on the poor and the small children of Palestine

More than 15.6 million children are affected by the crisis, facing violence, abuse, exploitation, malnutrition and recurring disease outbreaks. Millions have fled their homes and are displaced in the country and across the borders in what has become the world’s largest child displacement crisis.

For children forced out of their homes by violence, memories of more peaceful times can seem a long way away. Some children who can still remember Ramadans past use modeling clay to create pretend versions of the favorite foods they ate before the war
