14SR (EW) are running 90 miles from Cawdor Barracks, Brawdy to the summit of Pen Y Fan to not only raise money and awareness, but to show our support for the incredible LCpl Saf Barber.

Saf has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma (ACC) an incredibly rare and aggressive form of cancer that has also spread to her lungs. She is currently undergoing her treatment in Queensland, Australia, where she is receiving specialist care. Saf is currently unable to fly home to the UK due to her condition, which means she is separated from much of her support network and comforts back home.

We have created this page to raise money for Military Vs Cancer, a grant giving charity providing emotional, financial and practical support to military families affected by cancer.

14SR (EW) will be conducting the event on Monday 3rd September 2025 and we would gratefully appreciate any support going towards this fantastic cause. Cancer now affects 1 in 6 people and this amazing charity provides support to military personnel and their families every step of the way.

We welcome any donations as we undertake this challenge to show Saf that we are thinking of her.
