SFAG Wellbeing Walk · 20 June 2025

Viewpoint has been in existence since 2003, we are an independent charity which supports service users to become involved in developing and improving mental health and drug and alcohol services. We are not connected to any of the providers of mental health and drug and alcohol services. Service users can feel safe to express their views to us. We help people to get involved in improving services in the way that best suits them. “Service user involvement has to be meaningful and not just a tick box exercise, says” Chief Executive, Leslie Billy. “By maintaining our independence we can facilitate a range of pathways to enable this to happen.”

Story

On the 20th June, Safety First Aid Group’s staff will be participating in a sponsored walk near our office in Letchworth to raise money for Viewpoint.

Safety First Aid Group was established more than 60 years ago in 1959, and is a second generation, family-run business with quality, customer service and sustainability firmly embedded at the heart of everything we do. We offer high-quality first aid and safety supplies for the workplace, home, travel and leisure, as well as unbeatable first aid training with a 99% pass rate.

As a Hertfordshire based company we want to give back to our community and have chosen Viewpoint as one of our charities for this year. We greatly admire the work that they do for those suffering from poor mental health and substance abuse issues, especially through their workshops and peer support.
