My 8yr old overheard me grumbling this morning about how it’s probably going to be the last decent day to get 3 donated prams desperately in need of a wash, washed and dried and ready for distribution and because I’ve been laid up with covid this week I just don’t have the energy for it.

Next thing I know he’s pulled the jet wash out, hooked up the hoover and found the scrubbing brush.

“Mum can you fill the bucket with washing stuff please?” was the first I knew of his plan.

He has spent all morning hoovering, scrubbing and jet washing these prams to perfection.

I’ve offered him some pocket money which he’s refused and when I pushed it he said “ok, ok but you can use it to buy baby baths and those pad things”

If you think he deserves some “pocket money” to put towards essentials for our newborn packs like brand new carry cot mattresses, please add a few quid here.
