Team Sagar are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge as part of the Pendleside Corporate Challenge.

On the 23rd of September a team of 4 including Chris Bedford, Emily Haire, Gary Harden and Jeremy Clarkson will trek the Yorkshire Three Peaks – a total of 24 miles with the aim of completing it within 12 hours.

The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Pendleside Hospice, who serve our local community in times of need. Any donations are greatly appreciated and go a long way in helping the hospice continue its services.

Pendleside exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers; by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses their individually assessed physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

Why the Corporate Challenge?

The Corporate Challenge raises a huge amount of vital funds for Pendleside Hospice every year and they are immensely grateful to all the local businesses who support it.

It takes £5.5m per year to keep the hospice open. They receive a little over 22% from statutory funding which means they need to raise over £4.5m each year through local support and donations.

The Corporate Challenge plays a major part in their fundraising mission.
