We’ve signed up for something massive in 2026…

In 2026, myself and our Operations Director Adam Clowes are taking on a massive personal challenge, a 4-day 50K trek across the Sahara Desert to raise money for the incredible Wigan & Leigh Hospice .

We’ll be walking for hours each day in scorching heat, climbing towering sand dunes, and sleeping under the stars. It’s going to test us physically and mentally, but we’re doing it for something much bigger than ourselves.

It costs £12,000 every single day to keep Wigan & Leigh Hospice running. That’s to fund the nurses, the care teams, the equipment, and everything else needed to provide comfort, dignity, and support to people facing the hardest days of their lives.

Although I don’t have a personal connection to the hospice I know how much of a difference they make to families across our community. And we want to help make sure they can keep doing what they do best.

Our target is simple but meaningful: to raise at least £12,000 enough to fund one full day of hospice care.

One day of compassion.

One day of expert support.

One day of peace in the most difficult times.

We’ll be documenting the whole journey from training (with a little help from our AI coach B.O.B) to every mile across the desert.
