The first Shaukat Khanum Hospital was established in Lahore in 1994 by Imran Khan. It was a first for Pakistan: a comprehensive care facility dedicated to the diagnosis and the highest standards of treatment for cancer.

Since then a second hospital in Peshawar and Diagnostic Centres, Laboratory Collection Centres, and Outreach Screening Clinics nationwide.

Third one is near completion in Karachi due to open in December 2023.
