Hi everyone, it’s Sally here. You probably know that I’ll be running in this year’s Edinburgh Marathon along with my son Liam. We’re doing this to raise money for the Lisa’s Gift charity , which helps to tackle child poverty among schoolchildren in the Renfrewshire area.

By sponsoring me you will be helping pupils from less fortunate backgrounds to experience extracurricular activities which require a financial contribution from the home ; providing warm winter clothing, PE kits, and food parcels to those who need it ; you will be helping to set up and maintain breakfast clubs which ensure that every child can start the day properly fed.

Year upon year the charity is experiencing more and more requests from schools for assistance. By donating to our marathon adventure, you’ll be helping us to help them.
