Story
I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, as I’ve never been one for a challenge!
On 30th October, I’ll be taking on the Inca Trail Trek in Peru to raise money for Overgate Hospice.
I’ll be joining my sister-in-law, Laura, and a group of fellow trekkers. Laura first asked me to take part when the trek was announced, but at the time my dad was terminally ill, so I wasn’t able to commit.
My dad had a huge belief in Overgate Hospice and was a passionate supporter of their Big Build project. Following his death, it feels only right that I do my bit to support a place that meant so much to him, our family and our family business www.caravanguard.co.uk
Over four days, I’ll be trekking through the Peruvian mountains, tackling not only the distance but also the challenge of the altitude – and sleeping in a tent along the way! It will certainly be pushing me well outside my comfort zone.
Although Overgate’s beautiful new hospice has now been built, the fundraising doesn’t stop there. Overgate relies on donations to continue providing outstanding care and support to patients and their families when they need it most.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and will help ensure Overgate can continue its incredible work for years to come.
Thank you so much for supporting me and, most importantly, supporting Overgate Hospice. ❤️
Sally x
