In true Sally style, I said no more yet here I am again on the count down to Rob Burrow Leeds marathon!

This year I am raising money for The Christie who have been treating one of my best ever friends for breast cancer!

Sometimes certain news just hits you like a brick. We spent our twenties partying like no one’s business, worked the bar in Spain together and generally just got up to no good most of the time. You never think it’s gonna happen to you/ your closest people!

She is the strongest woman going and is smashing treatment like a boss but I feel a tad useless this side of the pennines so I’m doing what I know best and smashing some miles to raise some money for those who are helping her at this rough time.

I think of her on every run and how blooming strong she is ! Who am I to moan about the pain of a marathon when some people are going through so much more ?

so here goes….. let’s get another one in the bag for another awesome cause
