Story
If you know me well, you probably know I’ve been saying ‘I’m going to run a half marathon this year’ for many, many, many years. However this year, I’ve finally taken the step and booked one.
That’s because this year, there’s something bigger that I want to run it for.
It’s not that I think running a half marathon will change my life, but I’m hoping to raise some money that might go towards changing some other people’s lives.
Kids Matter is a charity that support low income families through parenting programmes. They recognise that parenting is hard, and parenting on a low income, with the added stresses of poverty, is even harder.
Through community parenting programmes, Kids Matter are changing the lives of families and children all over the UK, by giving parents confidence in themselves, competence in how to parent well, and community around them.
I’m asking for donations today to help break generational cycles, and see more children being raised in strong families.
I’m aiming to raise £750, if you can contribute anything at all, I’d be so so grateful.
If you have any questions at all or would like to know more about what they do, please message me! I’d love to chat 🫶🏻
Thank you so much
Sally x
