SAMH in Dundee

SAMH has a strong presence in Dundee, offering a range of services that help people improve their mental health, build confidence and reconnect with their communities.

Key local services include:

Chrysalis Tayside – A therapeutic horticulture programme where participants develop confidence, resilience, wellbeing and employability skills through gardening and outdoor activities.

Growing Chrysalis – A community gardening project based at Duntrune Community Garden that has supported thousands of local people by providing a welcoming space to improve mental wellbeing, learn new skills and reduce social isolation.

Dundee Supported Mental Health Outreach (SMHO) & Carers Service – Providing practical and emotional support to people living with mental health conditions, helping them maintain independence within their own homes.

Wellbeing on Wheels – A free, accessible drop-in service offering peer support, advice and information for anyone experiencing mental health challenges, helping people access support without appointments or referrals.

Why Your Support Matters

Every pound raised helps SAMH continue to provide life-changing mental health support, tackle loneliness and isolation, promote recovery, and ensure that people across Dundee and Scotland can access the help they need when they need it most.

Thank you for supporting SAMH and helping create a future where mental health is valued as much as physical health, and where no one has to face mental health challenges alone.
