Why I’m Raising Money for Waggy Tails Rescue

I’m raising money for Waggy Tails Rescue by taking on some of the biggest physical challenges of my life — running the London Marathon in April 2026 and in May 2026 trekking to Everest Base Camp, and then pushing even further by taking part in the Hillary–Tenzing Marathon. This time last year I struggled to run 1-2km!!

Waggy Tails Rescue is a small but incredible charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, or left with nowhere else to turn. They provide vital medical care, safe foster homes, and the time and love these dogs need to recover and find their forever families. We have had three wonderful rescue dogs from them.

These challenges will test my endurance, resilience, and mindset — but they’re nothing compared to what many of these animals have already endured. Every mile I run and every step I take is for the dogs who can’t speak for themselves.

Your donation will go directly towards veterinary care, food, rehabilitation, and ongoing rescue efforts. Any support, big or small, will help Waggy Tails Rescue continue saving lives and giving dogs the second chance they deserve.
