Hi, we’re Joel and Danny! We’re best friends, we’re 10 and 11 years old and have decided to take on a 10km run on the 26th April to raise as much money as possible for Devon Air Ambulance. This is going to be a difficult challenge as it is the furthest we have ever run and is going to take a lot of training to complete it.

We chose this charity because it provides life-saving rescues across Devon, from the rugged Tors of Dartmoor to the coastal waters of Teignmouth—often in challenging and dangerous conditions.

Devon Air Ambulance receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations. In 2024 alone, it has saved 164 children, carried out 1,254 helicopter missions, and completed an astonishing 34,431 missions to date.
