Story

Welcome to my fundraising page 💛

As many of you will know, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in September 2024. It’s a diagnosis that completely turned my world upside down, and life hasn’t quite been the same since.

Throughout this journey, The Brain Tumour Charity has been a constant source of support, information and reassurance for me and my family. Because of that, I’ve been determined to give something back — to help them continue supporting others facing a brain tumour diagnosis, and most importantly, to fund vital research into a cure for this devastating disease.

One of the charity’s biggest fundraising events of the year is the Twilight Walk, held every March in London. Last year, I’d only just had surgery and was still at home, sore, exhausted and heavily medicated — so taking part simply wasn’t possible. This year, I’m incredibly grateful (and proud!) to say that I’m well enough to join in, walking alongside my mum Sarah, my daughter Fearne, and my son Leo. And in what can only be described as madness by anyone who knows me — because I hate walking — we’re taking on the full 10k!

I’m also absolutely thrilled to be walking as part of the Gliobabes Team, alongside Mel and Mol, combining our fundraising efforts to raise as much money as possible for a charity so close to all our hearts.

Mel and Mol — two girls, two brain tumours — are both Young Ambassadors for The Brain Tumour Charity and are living with glioma. They created The GlioBabes Podcast to build a supportive community and a safe space where difficult conversations can happen openly, and where people can truly feel seen and heard.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you’re able to give — it genuinely means more than I can say.
