Story
I am raising £2,000 for individuals with a Learning Disability who are supported by Thera South West (TSW). TSW provides essential support across Devon, Dorset, and Wiltshire, helping people thrive in their homes and local communities.
As someone with a lived experience of a Learning Disability, I understand the challenges faced by many. In my role as Service Quality Director for TSW, I am committed to stepping out of my comfort zone by undertaking a sky dive to raise funds for those we support. This will be the first time that I have ever set foot in a plane and it will be to jump out of it. This exhilarating challenge is not just about me; it’s about creating meaningful opportunities for connection and joy.
Every year, TSW organises a fun day that brings together the individuals we support. This special day allows them to socialise, engage in meaningful activities, and strengthen bonds with family and friends. It is a celebration of community and inclusion that fosters lasting memories.
I invite you to join me in making a difference. Your generous contributions will help us reach our target of £2,000 GBP, ensuring that we can continue to provide these vital experiences for those who need it most. Together, we can empower individuals with Learning Disabilities to lead a fulfilling good life, filled with joy and connection and ensuring that they have choice and control over their lives.
