I am so incredibly excited to be running the London Marathon for such an amazing charity. St John Ambulance steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and keep communities safe.

As someone who attends multiple running races a year I and many other runners are safe in the knowledge that the St John Ambulance team are there just in case, giving us the freedom to enjoy the race without worrying. Also, as someone who managed to fall during their first (and only...) mud run I know firsthand how incredible and caring their team are, even when it comes to very minor cuts and grazes!

Outside of running loads of people, including family and friends are first aid trained thanks to their time and dedication, ensuing they know what to do in the times that matter. As someone with a family friend who dedicated so much of his time to volunteering for them, I know how fundamental the work that they do is. And it's only with your help that they can continue to keep providing their time and support to keep communities safe.
