Several members of our church have come together to undertake various challenges to help raise funds towards the extension of the west end of our church building - the Westcliffe Hall, in Harrogate - to build a designated space for the young people in the local community to use throughout the week. There are few designated spaces for our youth locally and we hope this will give youngsters aged 11-18 somewhere they can meet and make new friends and have fun.

Helen and Sam will be taking on two challenges for starters over the summer. Helen is planning to walk all three peaks in Yorkshire in 12 hours, a feat of 24 miles plus three impressive climbs.

Sam will be running the Leeds Running Festival Half Marathon at the end of August.
