Story

Introducing Diamonds in the Tough! Who are we?

We are a group of friends who have come together to take on the Tough Mudder London West to raise vital funds for a very special charity, Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.

The Tough Mudder will be a great challenge for us all and we would extremely grateful for your support in helping us to achieve and hopefully exceed our fundraising target. For those of you who would like to know more about the charity:

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice was established by Michael McInerney following the death of a child in his close family in a local hospital. Unhappy with the options available for the child, he launched Noah's Ark's care for children and families in 2006 after years of fundraising.

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice helps babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And the charity supports those who do die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family.

By providing exceptional care, organising fun activities and days out, Noah's Ark helps families do things they never thought possible. We help those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers. We support over 350 children and families across North and Central London every year.

We believe that every baby, child and young person who is seriously unwell, and their loved ones, should have access to expert and compassionate palliative care from the point of diagnosis. Partnering with London's NHS trusts we have built a home, a community and a team to make that difference.

Thank you so much for your support, we are hugely grateful.
