As many of you will know, Sam took up birdwatching over the last few years, and used to spend a lot of time at the weekends (at home and abroad!) to find new birds for his life list. He was proud to contribute and be published in the Dorset Bird Report 2024. Just don't call him a twitcher!

Birds of Poole Harbour are a local charity that support conservation in the local area and support the reintroduction of Ospreys and eagles in Poole. Sam was lucky to see both when he went on one of their boat trips a few years ago and we would like to raise some money in his memory to help them continue supporting the Ospreys.
