The Turner Syndrome Support Society is a national charity caring for the needs of those with Turner syndrome throughout the UK, offering support and information to girls and adult women with TS, their families and friends. The Society also enjoys a good relationship with medical and other specialists to promote a good basis for education and uderstanding of the management of TS.

Story

A group of us are running the Great Yarmouth 5k and 10k in March in support of the Turner Syndrome Support Society (TSSS).

We are aiming to raise £750 for the TSSS to continue their work in supporting countless families across the country.

Turner Syndrome is a chromosome condition that only affects women and girls. It can affect women and girls in a range of different ways.

Katie and Sam's, daughter Ava has Turner Syndrome. Ava was diagnosed very early and this has meant it has been quicker to get the care in place at the time she has needed it. The support from her professionals and charities such as the TSSS, has supported the whole family to give Ava the best start.

The TSSS do an incredible job supporting girls and women with Turner Syndrome, their families and medical professionals as well as engaging the wider public. We are running the to raise funds to help them continue with their important work supporting families and raising awareness of Turner Syndrome.

We are grateful for any amount you feel able to give.

Thanks,

Sam, Katie and everyone running
