Story
Please help me support a great cause close to my heart!
My name is Samyuktha Rangappagari, but people like to call me Sam. I have been working as a Care Assistant at Edensor Care Centre for the past four years.
Originally from India, I came to the UK to pursue my master’s degree. Later, I chose to work in care because I wanted to make a positive difference in someone’s life. Caring for people gives me a sense of personal satisfaction and makes me feel that my work has meaning.
I want to try skydiving because I am very scared of heights. I want to overcome this fear, step out of my comfort zone, and challenge myself to do something I have never done before.
I'm really excited to do the jump, and do something for Edensor's residents and Diagrama.
The UK-registered charity supports vulnerable children and adults to live their best lives through fostering and adoption, day and residential services for adults with learning disabilities and dementia care services across the south east.
The skydive challenge hopes to raise £25,000, which will go towards creating life enriching experiences for the vulnerable people Diagrama supports so they can thrive - so please donate what you can.
Funds will contribute to:
Accessible learning spaces
Sensory and wellbeing resources
Enrichment activities
Therapeutic support
Outdoor learning opportunities
Every donation counts and will go a long way in helping Diagrama build better lives, so please donate what you can and share our cause!
