In July my baby niece, Eloise, was suddenly stillborn at 38 weeks.

The pain and sadness has been unlike anything else, but the support provided by Petals to Jess and Charlie has been a source of comfort in their darkest hour.

To give back just a fraction of my thanks I am running the Great Eastern Run half marathon. Whatever I can raise, from £1 to £100, will be deeply appreciated and add to the amazing total they have already raised in Eloise's memory.

Petals is a baby loss counselling charity. The specialist counselling service that we provide is life-changing for parents who have suffered the devastating loss of a pregnancy or death of a baby. We know that these tragic experiences not only result in grief but also in trauma. Our wonderful counsellors are there to help our clients navigate their grief and trauma and to guide them to a place of hope.

Supporting this challenge you will be helping us to deliver more vital counselling sessions to bereaved parents when they need us.
