Story
This is my Uncle Anthony who has been disabled for his entire life, being diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy at birth. Growing up he had limited access to activities and usual living has been a constant struggle as a degenerative disease.
On top of his disability my uncle was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and passed away the week before Christmas.
So I'll be running the London marathon on behalf of Anthony raising money for the The Garwood Foundation. Who for 38 years have given support to my uncle, giving him access to work, activities and all round living care required.
Garwood provides a range of services for people with disabilities in Croydon and the surrounding boroughs. Their focus is to promote the care, welfare, interest, treatment and advancement of education of people with profound, multiple, acquired or other disabilities .
Please donate whatever you can as I suffer round 26.2 miles!
Thank you, no amount is too little everything helps.
Sam
