Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 26th April, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running the 26.2-mile London Marathon, raising money for two incredible causes: the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation.
Across the UK, more than 134,000 children are eligible for a life-changing wish as they face the daily challenges of living with a critical illness. Their dreams should extend beyond the limits of their diagnosis — every child deserves something magical to hope for.
I am incredibly grateful to have a young family who currently enjoy good health and a life full of memorable experiences. Through this challenge, I hope to help extend that same sense of joy, hope and opportunity to children and families facing far tougher circumstances.
A 'wish' gives a child a powerful gift — choice, at a time when so much is out of their control. It gives them something uplifting to look forward to, a moment to escape, and memories to carry them through the hardest days. Most importantly, it creates precious family moments that can be treasured forever.
Every donation made will be matched pound for pound by St. James’s Place, meaning your support will go even further!
The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation funds small and medium sized charities across the UK and overseas working with children who are disadvantaged physically, socially or economically. The SJP Foundation also fund hospices, mental health charities and cancer support charities. I've seen first hand, the incredible impact they have had over many years.
Both charities do truly extraordinary work and I am proud to be supporting them. Any contribution you are able to make — no matter the size will help make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for your support!
