Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I've decided to challenge myself this year by not only running a 10km race for charity but also taking on two half marathons and a full marathon throughout 2024! 🌟 It's going to be a tough journey for me as someone who isn't particularly fond of running, but I'm determined to push myself for a great cause.

I'll be raising money for a wonderful charity called Wishes 4 Kids, which grants one last wish to terminally ill children. Every step I take will be in support of these brave kids and their families, bringing a little bit of joy and comfort during difficult times.
To prepare for this challenge, I'll be making some sacrifices along the way. That means cutting down on beer (yes, I'll miss it!) and saying goodbye to my beloved burgers in favor of a healthier diet. It's going to be a test of willpower, but I know it will all be worth it in the end.

A Message from Wishes 4 Kids Charity Manager -Gary Lowe
We cannot take the suffering of a child away but the time when a child has a wish granted is a time when they forget their suffering. It is a moment that will be treasured by them for the rest of their lives and to see their happiness and excitement during that time is the real objective of a wish being achieved.
Wishes 4 Kids have just celebrated their 21st birthday and in that time have granted over 7000 children’s wishes. A child’s wish can be anything from meeting their favourite celebrity/sports personality to owning the latest gadget. We offer family breaks to places such as CBeebies Land and Legoland and our most popular wish is to go to Disneyland Paris.
We are funded solely by public donation, as we do not get any support from the National Lottery or Children in Need. Every single penny that is donated to our Charity goes directly on the children and their wishes.
