I am paddleboarding the Thames (230km) in memory of my best friend Simon Flynn, who drowned 5 years ago, whilst paddleboarding, through leash entrapment. I am raising awarness of the importance of wearing a quick release waist leash on moving water, whilst raising funds for The Simon Flynn Educational Foundation.

The charity was formed in memory of Simon Flynn, an inspirational teacher. Simon was passionate about giving allchildren the opportunity to become resilient, confident, and enthusiastic learners.The Foundation aims to continue this legacy.
