Story
On the 10th of May 2026, myself, Georgia, and Masie will be taking on a skydive to raise money for PASIC, a charity dedicated to ensuring no family in the East Midlands faces childhood cancer alone.
Last summer was one of the hardest times our family has ever experienced, especially for our daughter, Ariah. After months of ongoing back pain and numerous tests, including a biopsy, she was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis.
The uncertainty, fear, and difficult conversations around treatment were overwhelming. We were incredibly fortunate that Ariah’s condition involved only a single lesion, meaning she did not require chemotherapy. That outcome is something we are grateful for every single day.
However, many other children and families are not as lucky. Some face weekly chemotherapy and steroid treatments, something we were terrified could have been Ariah’s reality.
During our time in hospital, PASIC provided incredible support. From thoughtful gifts that brightened Ariah’s days, to the kindness and compassion shown by everyone involved in the charity, their impact on our family has been unforgettable. PASIC also goes above and beyond for families, organising Christmas parties, theme park trips, and offering practical support during incredibly difficult times when parents may be unable to work.
This skydive is our way of giving back, raising both funds and awareness for a charity that makes an amazing difference.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help PASIC continue supporting children and families facing childhood cancer.
Thank you so much for your support.
