Story
In 2026, I’ll be taking on my third London Marathon in three years — but this time it’s for a cause especially close to my heart. I’m proud to be running for the Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity.
Our three amazing children — Lola, Charlie, and Bodhi — were all born at St Helier Hospital. Throughout each birth, the midwives and maternity teams provided outstanding care, support, and compassion. We will always be grateful for everything they did for our family.
After our youngest, Bodhi, was born, we experienced some frightening complications with my wife, Lili, which meant an unexpected return to St Helier for several anxious days. Just when we thought things had settled, we found ourselves back again when Bodhi was only 28 days old. During some of our most worrying moments, the hospital teams were there for us — calm, skilled, and reassuring.
That’s why I’m truly honoured to have been chosen as Epsom and St Helier’s sole representative in the 2026 TCS London Marathon. I’m determined to give everything I’ve got, not just on race day, but in raising vital funds to support other families facing difficult times and to help make their hospital experiences a little easier.
Thank you for supporting this incredible cause.

Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity – we are the official registered Trust Charity that supports our incredible hospitals- Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals.
With your generosity and support, we can provide funds to support patients, their families and the staff who care for them at our hospitals. We rely on donations and fundraising to allow us support over and above what is normally provided. This can include buying new medical equipment, improving facilities, supporting staff training and so much more.
