London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

Leeds Well School Partnership is committed in supporting the health, wellbeing, and development of every child across our schools. We're fundraising at London Marathon to support specific Leeds Rhinos Foundation & LWSP partnered projects.

Story

I’m thrilled (and a little nervous!) to be running the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds for the Leeds Well School Partnership.

As a primary school teacher and PE subject lead, I’ve spent years seeing first-hand how physical activity and healthy habits transform children’s lives. From encouraging teamwork on the playground to helping pupils discover the joy of movement in PE lessons, I know how crucial it is to build positive habits early. I’m passionate about inspiring children to be active, confident, and resilient—both inside and outside the classroom.

The Leeds Well School Partnership provides schools with the resources, support, and programs that make physical activity accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for every child. By supporting this cause, you’re helping ensure that more young people can thrive through movement, develop healthy lifestyles, and enjoy the benefits of an active life.

Running a marathon is a huge personal challenge for me, but knowing I’m doing it to support children’s health and well-being makes every mile worthwhile.

Please support me on this journey—every donation counts and makes a real difference. Together, we can inspire the next generation to lead active, healthy lives!

Leeds Well School Partnership

The Leeds Well School Partnership is committed to supporting the health, wellbeing, and personal development of every child across our schools. We believe that when children feel well, they learn well - and that wellbeing lies at the heart of successful learning communities. This year, we are placing a special focus on projects that empower girls and enhance opportunities for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Through tailored programmes, inclusive activities, and collaborative wellbeing initiatives, we aim to ensure that every young person feels valued, supported, and able to thrive. Your donation will help us continue this vital work - providing resources, workshops, and experiences that nurture confidence, resilience, and equality for all. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of children across Leeds.
