Story
Having taken part in The Big Walk in 2022 I am back and semi ready to go!! (Just need a little more training haha).
I decided to do The Big Walk in 2022 due to the cause, which was gene therapy. I myself have benefitted greatly from gene therapy with a drug called Kaftrio, which has given me a better quality of live with cystic fibrosis! Thanks to Kaftrio I feel like a 'normal' person and my life expectancy has increased dramatically. This is why I am doing The Big Walk again because I know first hand how the research can help people live a better quality of life.
This time I am looking forward to raising money for Motor Neurone Disease research with your help on the 20 mile hike!
Whatever you can donate £1 or £2 is much appreciated as it all adds up in the end.
Thank you for your donation and helping the lives of many through your generosity.
