Sam's fundraiser for Nottingham City Neonatal Unit

Sam Henson is raising money for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity

Robin Hood Half Marathon 2025 · 28 September 2025 ·

On Sunday 28th September 2025, Nottingham Hospitals Charity supporters will take on the Robin Hood Half & Mini Marathon, raising funds for the areas in our hospitals that are close to their hearts.

Story

On the 15th of May, our family welcomed two beautiful daughters into the world, Maya and Natalia, who arrived almost 9 weeks before their due date. Their journey began in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nottingham City Hospital, where they received exceptional care for four weeks before being able to make the journey home. We are forever grateful to every single member of the dedicated staff who supported us during this challenging time.

As I prepare to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon on 28th September, we are taking the chance to give back to the Nottingham University Hospitals Charity. This charity plays a vital role in ensuring that families like ours receive the best possible care during their most vulnerable moments. Your support can help provide essential resources and equipment for the NICU, making a significant difference in the lives of premature babies and their families.

We kindly ask you to consider donating to our fundraising campaign. Every contribution counts towards creating a brighter future for those in need. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving—they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails.
