Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
Back in 2023 they saved my Georges life. He was rushed into the RVC. I was told he either had a bleed on the brain , Brain tumor or meningitis which no dog mum ever wants to hear.
George spent 6 days in the hospital undergoing CT Scans ,MRI Scans, bloods , tissue samples taken from his brain after which he was diagnosed with meningitis MUA . There was a 75% of survival with him going back to his normal ways. He had to have chemo in order to keep his immune system suppressed to stop it attacking the brain. He would need to have chemo every 3 weeks for 5 cycles the 4 weeks at 5 cycles and so on. We are now up to chemo every 10 weeks and i am forever grateful that the RVC saved my boy .
The Neurology department are amazing and always keep me updated with how George is when he has his over night stays for chemo.
So now i would like to do something for them and help raise money for the hospital.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
