In April 2026, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for the RVC also known as the Queen Mothers Hospital for small animals.

Back in 2023 they saved Georges life. George was rushed there as an emergency and spent 6 days and 5 nights at the RVC in Potters Bar undergoing CT Scans ,MRI Scans, bloods tests , tissue samples taken from his brain after which he was diagnosed with meningitis MUA . Additionally, imaging of the chest and abdomen revealed a mass lesion in his lung which thankfully after 4 biopsy's was not cancerous but we have that monitored and checked every 6 months to be on the safe side.

There was a 75% of survival with him going back to his normal ways which thankfully he has. However he has to have chemo in order to keep his immune system suppressed to stop it attacking the brain.

George started chemo straight away and has continued with his treatment ever since.

The Neurology department have been amazing and always keep me updated with how George is when he has his sleep overs for chemo.

Now I would like to do something for them to thank them for saving George and help raise money for the hospital.
