My nan recently spent a few weeks at the RUH and couldn’t speak highly enough of the incredible doctors and nurses who looked after her. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, so I thought the least I could do is put myself through a bit of discomfort too.

I’m definitely not what you’d call “half marathon fit,” but I’m determined to get round and raise some money for the amazing people who do so much for others every day.
