Story

St Martins Schools‘ primary focus is to provide a safe space for the children of Kibagare to thrive, whether that be through education, food, clean water, computer access or friendship. Kibagare is one of the poorest slums in Kenya. St Martins offers an environment where these young people can thrive through education and be empowered to change the future of their communities.

Since 2019 Tenth Revolution Group has sponsored and worked with the school where it supports around 1,000 children from pre-school age up to 18 years old. In June 2023 myself and 25 colleagues from around the globe will be heading to Kibagare to volunteer and help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Just some of the things we will be doing whilst in Kibagare;

Feeding Programme - Helping with the school's saturday feeding programme where they support up to 3,000 children

Mentoring & Tech Classes for secondary students - Teach the students about Tech best practices, CV writing, Personal statements and more

Sports, Arts & Crafts - Various activities with the children

Home Visits - Meet with local families & some of the children sponsored by TRG employees

Expansion - Get involved in the expansion of a new school

I am sure this will be an extremely humbling and rewarding trip.

Personally I am looking to raise a minimum of £2000 to help make sure that the children continue to get access to St Martins school and the education that so many of us take for granted.

I would be grateful for any contributions. All money raised will go directly to St Martins School.

Many Thanks,

Sam
