Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In a moment of madness i decided last year that i wanted a challenge, why not run 26.2 miles and participate in a marathon. I haven’t really done any running for around 5 years, so i thought this would be a physical challenge, i was not prepared for the extent of that 😂🙈 or the impact this has actually had on me mentally/sociably and personally….. its has been a journey to say the least!

I wanted to do this for something/someone so it was a drive to push on the hard days I wanted to try and make, all be it little, but a difference to something.

Last year a friend shared her story and deverstating diagnosis with ALS/MND. Her story has touched so many.

She shared about the disease and how it has impacted her and her family.

I have no words to say how amazingly brave she is, She is a force to be reckoned with and fighting daily truly is an inspiration 🤍

Following this i have chosen to run the marathon to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This incredible organization is dedicated to improving access to care, conducting vital research, and advocating for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating condition that affects thousands of lives. It robs individuals of their ability to move, speak, and ultimately, live a normal life. The impact on both patients and their loved ones is immeasurable.
